WWE Summerslam Main Event Leaked!? Backstage Heat On WWE Stars! | WrestleTalk News July 2017

Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News,
I’m Luke Owen and I think I’ve finally figured out how to get into Oli’s secret
Money in the Ban- Hello and welcome to the WrestleTalk News,
I’m Oli Davis. Good Guy Corbin? Following this week’s Smackdown Live, Baron
Corbin took on Shinsuke Nakamura in a dark match for the live audience only. In a very uncharacteristic move following
his loss, though, big, grumpy Baron Corbin seemingly broke character to give his presumably
very sweaty t-shirt to a crying child at ringside. The Lone Wolf has since corrected reports
that he has a heart, tweeting he only hands out t-shirts to kids from his own pack:
“Actually that was family I don’t care about other people’s kids . Know your fact before
tweeting like you know something.” Smackdown Ratings
This week’s Smackdown Live was up slightly from last week’s July 4th show, pulling
in 2.47 million viewers. But what did you make of the show? 59% of you agreed with Luke Owen’s Smack
Bang in the Middle rating, while 30% thought it was even better at Smacktastic. Backstage Heat On Enzo & Cass? Given how Enzo Amore’s booking on the main
roster has mainly been him being thrown around like a ragdoll and being broken up from his
tag team partner – never holding the Raw tag team titles – you might think someone’s
got it in for the Certified G backstage. Turns out, that’s probably right. The latest edition of the Wrestling Observer
Newsletter reports “Enzo Amore right now has a lot of heat on him.” Dave Meltzer writes this is because of an
incident on the tour bus from several weeks ago, and that it upset his fellow wrestlers
so much “Reigns kicked Enzo off the bus” – because it’s not just his yard, it’s
also his driveway – “and for a time he was given “Miz treatment” in that he wasn’t
allowed to dress in the locker room.”. That should be Roman and Braun Strowman’s
next match stipulation: a Tour Bus Prison. Meltzer notes this probably wasn’t the reason
for the split, and the timeline supports this. The ‘Who Beat Up Enzo Amore?’ storyline that led to the Cass heel turn started
back in May, much earlier than the “several weeks ago” when the ‘tour bus incident’
took place. It seems more likely that the storyline prompted
whatever Enzo did to get kicked off the coach, with Meltzer writing “he was also legit
not happy at the breakup of the team”. And Enzo isn’t the only one with heat backstage. The Newsletter is also reporting that Cass
is a strong Donald Trump supporter “in a locker room where many don’t share those
views…But the reaction to him is pale compared to that of Enzo.”. Summerslam Main Event Leaked? WWE would have you think next week’s Raw
will decide who is facing Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship at Summerslam – with
Roman Reigns taking on Samoa Joe for the No. 1 contendership spot. Dave Meltzer maintains the Summerslam main
event will be Reigns vs Lesnar, a match originally planned for next year’s Wrestlemania, but
according to Billi Bhatti, WWE have a Fatal Four Way in store. This comes off a really good run of scoops
for Bhatti, who correctly reported Lesnar and Strowman as the Great Balls of Fire victors
– where Meltzer had Reigns down as winning – and he’s now reporting Summerslam’s
main event will be Lesnar defending against Reigns, Samoa Joe and a returning Braun Strowman. Bhatti notes the original plan was always
a four-way, but with Lesnar defending against Strowman, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, which
was temporarily changed to Lesnar vs. Strowman, but creative were keen on keeping the Fatal
Four Way format. Reigns vs Lesnar is still apparently scheduled
for Wrestlemania 34. More names have been rumoured for the Mae
Young Classic, and two new matches have been made for WWE Battleground. Find out more in the latest WrestleTalk News

  1. Anyone know why Corbin's facing Brock at the house show in Detroit on July 29th? He can only cash in for the world belt, not universal, right?

  2. As Far as Big Cass Goes for being a Trumpster-Fire.. I Only have ONE Word to Describe Him… S ! H ! I ! T !!! SHIIIIIIIIIT !!!!!!

  3. where the fuck is davis 😐 oh wait nvm 😂😂😂😂 wtf wrote this seconds before he came out

  4. Why should someone get heat for having different political views? That's called being intolerant of others beliefs. Trying to jeopardize someone's career because of their political views is un-American.

  5. With Cass being a supporter of the God Emperor, I'm pretty sure Vince is going to back him up and defend him.

  6. thank you for returning, man! I don't mean to be rude, but I don't like wrestletalk being conducted by the other guy

  7. If I was a WWE wrestler I wish one of those guy's would tell me I can't dress in the locker room. We're be fist fighting

  8. "Miz Treatment", eh? Well, we know who the 2018 MITB winner and future WWE champion will be, and it doesn't rhyme with Casshole…

  9. And see, the Fatal Four Way makes sense. This could transition to a situation where Lesner and Strowman go at for a couple of months and Reigns vs Joe goes into a big feud. This would also allow WWE to do Lesner vs Rollins and Lesner vs Balor.

A couple of matches I would not mind seeing; as long as they go longer than six minutes, would be Lesner vs Nakamura and Lesner vs Styles. Both of those would be amazing.

  10. We need Oli in the creative team of WWE!!! Great Return Oli and Nice work Luke!!!! Every time I see it I laugh my ass out!!! That was out of nowhere!!!

  11. I don't care about wrestlers' political leanings, but the individuals would be stupid to make a big deal of their politics. Alienating half their fan base ain't good for business. It's best to leave some room for doubt, and not mention it at all.

  12. so Randy being a trump supporter is okay but if a newbie like Cass is one, it's bad? Hillary supporters should stop being this salty

  13. I know Samoa Joe is a better performer then Roman but I have to admit vs Brock. Roman had a better showing. Joe took like 6 suplexes and 1 F-5 and was done. When Roman took like 20 suplexes and 4 F-5's and then Seth came and won the title.
